We can do anything; but instructions help.

The definition of criminality: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same result: to not get caught.

May 31/19- Special Prosecutor, Robert Mueller, made a statement today concerning the findings of his two-year long investigation into Russian meddling in the U.S. 2016 Presidential election. He also made a statement about alleged obstruction of the investigation by the Trump Administration.

About the Russian meddling, he said that there was insufficient evidence to show the Trump campaign willingly colluded with the Russian government to corrupt the election in favour of Donald Trump. They appeared to be going along with the Russian efforts, while not assisting them.

Regarding the obstruction allegation, Mueller made two statements that seem deliberately obscure. In one statement, he said “If we had confidence that the President clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so”. The next statement read “We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime”.

My translation of the above two statements is this: We suspect that Donald Trump committed a crime, we just can’t prove it.

When do I feel most at peace? Besides the time I was Saved, I feel most at peace when my mind has fully grasped a problem; not contemplating a problem, but having the problem completely inside my head. My mind starts to drift, like it’s at sea. I feel that I can solve the problem just by grabbing the right hook, the entrance point to solving the problem. It is a peaceful process.

Your character is not strengthened from the good in your life, but from the bad.

There is a saying that the pen is mightier than the sword. It can certainly cause more damage.

Being justified does not make you right.

You know what is so nice about being old and exercising? It feels so good to stop.

I had just viewed a video where Alexandria Ocasio-Cortex was crying while reiterating the testimony of a mother whose child had died in the custody of the U.S. Border Patrol. The thing I noticed was the expression on the face of a woman who was sitting behind AOC, presumably an Aid of some sort. The woman’s expression alternated from expressionless to laughing. She seemed to be amused by something someone next to her that was saying to her.

AOC is obviously a very empathetic women, whereas the woman behind her appeared not to be. It seemed that AOC was the only congresswoman who was emotionally affected to such a degree because the reporting did not include any others who were as affected by that testimony. This makes me wonder, is AOC an anomaly, while the woman behind – and possibly the other congressional members – representative of the current empathetic level of this country?

Movie makers misunderstand what it means to be a genius. It is not the ability to recall facts, it is the ability to solve problems with those facts. After all, IQ tests don’t measure memory.

The home has always been a sanctuary. Let it also become an incubator for the “Do no harm to another” movement, should it become one.

I think that being born into a body is like planting a seed. In the beginning it is easy to pull the seedling out of the earth. And like the seedling, the spirit-baby can be dislodged from the body easily; it takes just some abuse or neglect. Sometimes the hold is so tenuous that the spirit can accidentally leave the body. This is called Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The more the baby is nurtured, the deeper it ‘roots’ into the body, making it more difficult to separate the spirit from the body. It usually takes a great shock.
